Maruti Suzuki today launched the Vitara Brezza Sports Limited Edition, which is basically an accessorised Vitara Brezza. The Sports Limited Edition model can be purchased in any of the existing grades for an additional cost of INR 29,990. For reference, the prices of the regular model range from INR 7,67,742-10,42,742*.

The Sports Limited Edition package includes a wide range of accessories including new seat covers, designer mats, slide cladding, body graphics, front and rear garnish, leather steering cover, door sill-guard, wheel arch kit, neck cushion and more. Existing Vitara Brezza customers can also equip their SUV with this accessory package.


The Maruti Vitara Brezza is powered by the soon-to-be-phased-out D13A 1.3-litre DDiS 200 engine which churns out 89.7 PS at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque at 1,750 rpm. 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual are the transmission choices. FWD drivetrain layout is standard across the range.

By March 2020, the D13A 1.3L DDiS 200 diesel engine will likely be replaced with the K15B 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine from the Maruti Ciaz and Maruti Ertiga. This four-cylinder mill produces 104.69 PS)6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. Whether a mild-hybrid system will be offered or not remains to be seen. The 5-speed AMT could be replaced by a 4-speed AT.
