Lamborghini has introduced a new Huracan ‘follow me’ car at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Italy. The Italian car manufacturer introduced its first ‘follow me’ Huracan in Bologna back in 2016 and the new car features a different livery and is rear-wheel drive. Its predecessor had a bright yellow livery and was the all-wheel drive model.
The new car’s livery consists primarily of matte grey paint but does include a number of yellow accents to ensure it’s easy to spot on the runway. Additionally, it is equipped with a flashing light bar on the roof. It’s unclear how long the new Huracan ‘follow me’ car will be found at the airport but the original was used between November 2016 and January 2017 before being employed for a second stint in 2018.

Should those arriving at the airport not see the Huracan ‘follow me’ car in action, they will be able to see a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Lamborghini Urus currently on display in one of the terminals.

The Huracan in question is the LP580-2 RWD model. It retains a 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine just like the regular model but pumps out 572 hp and 540 Nm of torque, a little less than the all-wheel drive model. Fortunately, the rear-wheel drive model does weigh 33 kg less than an equivalent all-wheel drive variant, tipping the scales at 1389 kg.
