The 8-year old Dodge Charger has been treated to the Octane Edition, which can be ordered with a US$ 1,495 premium for the SRT Hellcat model only. The car will remain on sale through the end of the model year and will arrive at dealers this fall.

Available in Pitch Black or White Knuckle exterior colors contrasted by a full-length Satin Black center stripe with Octane Red accents on the edges.

Color aside, the Charger SRT Hellcat Octane Edition also adds black exterior badging, satin black decklid spoiler, 9.5×20-inch aluminum-forged Cross Brace wheels in low-gloss black and the Brembo brake package with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, painted in Octane Red.

A novelty for the muscle sedan are the SRT Performance seats, with ‘SRT Hellcat’ logo stitching on the seat back, red accent stitching and Houndstooth insert. The cabin also gets red stitching throughout, red seatbelts, gloss black accents, Dark Brushed II instrument panel and console bezels and black-on-black SRT Hellcat instrument badge.

Power remains unchanged, with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine still pumping out 707 hp and 881 Nm of torque. It runs the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds and tops out at 328 km/h.
