After turning the Ford Raptor into a six-wheeler,
Hennessey Performance decided to do the same for the 2019/2020 Chevrolet
Silverado. The result is this, the aptly named Goliath 6×6. The very first example of the new
Hennessey truck, which was first previewed back in 2018, is based on the Trail
Boss Z71 and comes with a complete 6×6 conversion featuring an all-new rear
suspension system along with an extra axle.
In addition, the whole truck gets an eight-inch
suspension lift kit, a set of 20-inch Hennessey wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFG
off-road tires, new bumpers, a roll bar, LED auxiliary lights and a custom,
longer bed. Like all Hennessey’s products, it also comes with a
three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
Power is provided by GM’s 6.2-liter V8, which can be
further upgraded with the company’s 2.9L supercharger and boost output to 705
HP and 914 Nm of torque.
The first example of the Goliath 6×6 wass sold to
Bob Berrard, a noted auto enthusiast and owner of the largest potato farm in
the state of Wisconsin. “We are so excited for Bob and greatly appreciate
having him as our first Goliath owner,” said John Hennessey.
The tuning specialist plans to build 24 examples of
the Goliath 6×6, each sarting at US$ 375,000, which includes the cost of a brand
new Silverado.
