A German motorcycle manufacturer recently revealed a new paint color for the S1000 RR model. Accordingly, the car nicknamed the shark will wear gray Hockenheim Silver Metal, a symbol of strength and speed.

For those who are passionate about PKL, the name BMW S1000RR is definitely familiar to everyone. In the latest version, the company has broken the tradition of designing its recent years when removing asymmetric headlights - "teary eyes" type and replaced by symmetrical pairs of convex (projector) mirrors with LED strip daytime. Although this design has made fans of "sharks" not happy and satisfied, it is undeniable that the new S1000RR is also pitiful and equally sporty.


BMW S1000RR continues to use the 1000cc DOHC engine block, 4 liquid-cooled cylinders. However, with adjustments in titanium valve valves combined with ShiftCam variable valve technology to increase capacity to 207 horsepower at 13,500 rpm and torque 113. Nm at 11,000 rpm, an increase of 8 horsepower compared to the old system. BMW Motorrad said, the S1000RR can achieve torque of 100 Nm right from the roundabout from 5,500 to 14,500 rpm.

In addition to adding new paint colors, BMW also added a carbon optional package on the S1000 RR 2020 model, including front and rear fenders, rear grips, crank covers, and chain protection. There is still no information on whether this model will be widely introduced in markets or not, and the official release time of this model has not been announced yet.
