Seat has performed a few updates to its entire
range, which includes cars from the Mii to the Tarraco, in a bid to make it
more attractive to buyers. The company’s smallest high-riding vehicle, the Arona, now features a
new color option. It’s called Pure Red and has also become available on the
Ibiza hatchback.
The compact Ateca gets an upgraded infotainment
system, with an 8-inch display, replacing the old 6.5-inch screen. It’s also
available with two extra USB ports in the Style, Xcellence and FR grades, and
for the same trim levels, with FWD, Seat is offering DCC (Dynamic Chassis
Control).
Other changes include the addition of the 12V and
230V sockets in the boot, a new color called Crystal Black and the Black Pack
for the FR that adds black trim on the window frames, mirror covers, roof rails
and inside. The mid-size Tarraco sports a few upgrades of its own, like the
optional trailer assist system and 230V socket placed in the luggage area.
Bringing the Alhambra minivan in line with the
brand’s newer vehicles are the standard 6.5-inch navigation system, blind spot
detection and traffic sign recognition, standard on all trim levels. The people
carrier also gets a new color option named Reflex Silver.
Finally, Seat Leon is
offered with the Sport Black Matt special version, which brings black grille
frame, side mirror caps and 18-inch alloy wheels, Alcantara seats and black
roof lining. The Leon Sportourer ST comes with black roof rails too, if selected
with the Sport Black Matt updates, while the color palette adds the Pure Red on
all trim levels and the FR-only Dynamic Grey.
Meanwhile, the Mii family has already been updated
to include Seat’s first ever EV, the Mii Electric, which marks the end of the
ICE-powered versions and will enter production in the fourth quarter of the
year.
