The Ford F-150 Raptor is one of the most exciting
pickup trucks on the market but this particular example from the mind of
Alberto Luque Marta takes things to an entirely different level. This wild creation was actually
designed back in late 2017 but only recently came across (y)our desks. It could
serve as the perfect off-roader for Batman, one of those intriguing ‘doomsday
preppers’ or anyone with a fascination for powerful pickup trucks that can
tackle difficult off-road terrain.
One of the most eye-catching aspects of this F-150
Raptor is the massive V8 engine sticking out of the hood. Mounting an engine
like this is extremely impractical and not only would it impede the view out of
the windshield but could also adversely impact the vehicle’s off-roading
abilities, particularly since there is no visible snorkel to feed the engine
with air when the pickup crosses any kind of deep water crossing.
Beyond the engine popping out of the hood, this
F-150 Raptor includes an aggressive front end with a black bull bar, winch and
scuff plate. Additionally, there is a large cage on the roof supporting four
spotlights. Other modifications include impressive off-road wheels and tires
and a brush bar on the rear bumper.
Each and every F-150 Raptor to leave the factory
looks the part and offers impressive off-road credentials. This example,
excluding the engine design, shows how just a few aftermarket components can
transform the Raptor into a zombie-killer, roadtrip warrior, off-road crusader,
or just about anything else you’d want it to be.
