Bentley continues its centenary celebrations by
unveiling two special edition versions of the Bentayga. The new Businessman and
Sportsman editions have been created by the Mulliner division and Savile Row
tailor Huntsman respectively, and can be found in the showroom of Jack Barclay,
the automaker’s oldest retailer.
The Bentayga Sportsman wears a Candy Red shade on
the outside, over an Imperial Blue leather interior with Liquid Amber veneer
inserts, and features pronounced tweed accents. The model is said to have been
inspired by “relaxed countryside pursuits”, and is so British that you can
almost hear its accent.
In contrast to the Sportsman, the Bentayga
Businessman is finished in deep black Anthracite and Anthracite Satin, and
brings carbon fiber fascias and waistrails. Tweed is also a defining feature of
this special edition, which also features the Huntsman and Jack Barclay logos
embroidered into the seat rests.
Furthermore, the Bentayga Businessman comes with a
bespoke Mulliner chessboard in the rear seat rest, along with a drawer trimmed
in Huntsman fabric that houses the chess pieces. The chessboard mimics the
retailer’s chequerboard floor.
Those who buy a Huntsman edition of the Bentayga
will receive a Huntsman bespoke jacket, with a lining made exclusively for
Bentley. They will also get to select between different cloths and tweeds for
the garment.
