Even though the
Toyota C-HR is definitely not a very sporty vehicle to begin with, that hasn’t
stopped several tuning companies from messing around with its appearance and
getting it to look more menacing.
Aside from its
wide-body kit, comprised of larger fenders, side skirts and chunkier bumpers,
the Rowen-tuned C-HR is also equipped with new LEDs, new wheels, a new headlight
garnish and a brand new “markless” grille, as the tuner calls it. It basically
removes the Toyota logo for a more aggressive and mysterious look. Rowen’s
wide-body mods for the C-HR have been available for some time, however, the
grille and headlight garnish are both new and help the Japanese crossover stand
out even more.
What’s interesting
though is that for the new grille, which by the way is compatible with the
automaker’s Safety Sense systems, radar sensitivity might be slightly lower
than what it should be, and the tuner won’t go as far as to guarantee that it
will work the same as with a stock grille.
As for the rest of
its modifications, the vehicle features a pair of Recaro sports seats, a high
performance brake system and custom exhaust system, which means we won’t be
accusing this C-HR of being one hundred percent “all show and no go”.
