Karma unveiled the 2020 Revero GT earlier this year
and now the company has announced U.S. pricing will begin at US$ 135,000. Costing US$ 5,000 more than its
predecessor, the 2020 Revero GT features a number of updates inside and out. One
of the biggest changes is the all-new powertrain which consists of two electric
motors that produce a combined output of 536 hp and 1491 Nm of torque. They enable the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.5 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of 201
km/h.
Power is provided by a 28 kWh lithium-ion battery
pack, which enables the Revero GT to travel up to 129 km on
electricity alone. The model also features a BMW-sourced 1.5-liter Twin Power
Turbo three-cylinder engine that powers an on-board electric generator. It
increases the overall driving range up to 579 km.
Karma hasn’t released a detailed equipment list, but
the company has previously said the Revero has 21-inch aluminum wheels and an
eight-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. The car also has active noise
cancellation technology, wood trim and a heated steering wheel.
Like most modern vehicles, there’s a host of driver
assistance systems including a blind spot monitor, forward collision warning
and lane departure warning. Other safety features include rear cross traffic
alert, parking distance monitoring and a surround view camera system.
Revero GT deliveries are slated to begin in the
fourth quarter and fans can configure their car here.
