After South Korea and India, the Kia Seltos will be launched in many other markets around the world, including China. Unlike all other markets including ours, China will get it in a long-wheelbase version and with a different name - Kia KX3.

The long-wheelbase Kia Seltos will be launched in China as the second-gen Kia KX3. It may be difficult to notice from the low-res images seen here, but the specs confirms that the Chinese-spec Kia Seltos is indeed bigger.

The 2020 Kia KX3 or Chinese-spec Kia Seltos measures 4,345 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,645 mm/1,650 mm in height depending on the configuration. Its wheelbase spans a length of 2,650 mm. The measurements of the front and rear overhangs are 870 mm and 845 mm respectively. The Indian-spec Kia Seltos, on the other hand, is 4,315 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,620 mm tall. It has a 2,610 mm wheelbase. Its front and rear overhangs measure 865 mm and 840 mm respectively.

The next-gen Kia KX3 is powered by the G4FL 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is tuned to develop a maximum power of 114 PS. It can reach a top speed of 172 km/h and its fuel consumption rating is 5.4L/100 km (18.52 km/l). The G4FL engine is employed in the 2020 Hyundai ix25 as well.

The next-gen Kia KX3 is equipped with features like Crown Jewel LED headlamps with Heartbeat DRLs, LED tail lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, shark fin antenna and a 360-degree camera.
