Lynk & Co has
premiered a Plus version of its sedan/saloon called simply the ‘03’. The
vehicle comes equipped with a two-liter Volvo Drive-E gasoline engine rated at
254 hp and 350 Nm of torque, as well as an eight-speed
automatic transmission and an AWD system.
The 0-100 km/h sprint is a matter of 5.9
seconds for the 03+. To compare, there is a racecar version of the 03 out
there, which has 528 hp and 504 Nm of torque at its
disposal, and does the standard sprint in 4.4 s.
Compared to the stock Lynk & Co 03, the Plus
edition sports a carbon body kit, 19-inch wheels, a black roof, bucket seats
wrapped in Alcantara, and bright yellow color highlights here and there.
The entry-level Lynk & Co 03 ships with a
turbocharged 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engine available in two boost versions.
The more affordable one produces 156 hp and 245 Nm of
torque, and the more expensive one churns out 180 hp and 265 Nm.
Both link to the same seven-speed DCT transmission.
Another option comes in the form of a 2.0-liter
four-cylinder engine rated at 190 hp and 300 Nm, mated to
a six-speed automatic transmission.
