The Suzuki Hayabusa is no longer available in most
markets. Rumours of a newer and bigger model have been rife for quite some time
now. Bennetts UK has shared a new patent image of the next-generation Suzuki
Hayabusa. The next-gen of the sports-tourer is expected to be launched in 2021.
New patent images of the next-gen Suzuki Hayabusa
reveal its gear position indicator. The all-new Suzuki Hayabusa will use the
same frame as the previous model. The powerplant is also expected to be based
on the same 1,340 cc four-pot mill. However, it will have revised cylinders.
Several media reports also that the displacement will be increased. Two gearbox
options are expected, manual and semi-automatic. There will be a plethora of
modern-day electronic riding aides.
Output figures of the present generation Suzuki
Hayabusa stand at 199 PS of power and 155 Nm of torque. The bike tips the scales
at 268 kg. A large, 21-litre fuel tank makes the Hayabusa a perfect tourer.
Colour options in India include Metallic Oort Grey and Glass Sparkle Black.
