After Thailand, the Yamaha XSR155 may arrive in Indonesia, by the year-end, suggests a new report from Iwanbanaran. The source report claims that two units of the XSR155 were spotted at Pantura (Indonesian National Route 1) recently. The Yamaha XSR155 will have to go through the homologation process before it is launched in Indonesia. It is currently only available in Thailand, where it is priced at 91,500 Baht.

To give you a quick recap, the XSR155 shares its underpinnings with the YZF-R15 V3.0 and the MT-15. It is built around the Deltabox frame, and its suspension setup includes upside-down telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.

Mechanical specifications are similar to the YZF-R15 V3.0 and the MT-15. Thus, propelling tasks are performed by a 155 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine with the Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. Yamaha has not disclosed the power and torque output figures on its website. However, looking at the similarities between the compression ratio and rest of the details, the XSR155 most definitely delivers the exact same power and torque figures as the YZF-R15 V3.0 and the MT-15.

The single-cylinder motor on the fully faired model and the naked roadster churns out 19.3 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm at 8,500 rpm and comes linked to a six-speed gearbox that features slipper and an assist clutch system. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both wheels.

Key features of the XSR155 include a 10-litre tank, XSR900-inspired styling, fuel tank mounted keyhole, single-piece saddle with a ribbed pattern on the cover, LED headlamp, LCD instrument console (retro-style compact unit) and a LED taillight.
