Citroen has reshuffled the Grand C4 SpaceTourer
lineup in the United Kingdom, where it will launch next month with a £ 25,935 starting price. To better highlight the addition of new standard gear, the automaker
has renamed the three trim levels. Thus, the Touch Edition, Feel and Flair are
now known as the Touch Plus, Feel Plus and Flair Plus.
The entry-level model gets a 12-inch infotainment
system with 3-year subscription to TomTom Live, while the mid-range packs
leather/cloth upholstery, keyless entry and go, a reversing camera, active
safety brake, driver attention alert and speed limit recognition for £ 28,135.
Upgrade to the Flair Plus, which starts at £ 30,485 and you can get Citroen’s 7-seater MPV with xenon headlights
with intelligent high beams, active lane departure warning and active cruise
control.
Another new feature is the addition of the new
1.2-liter PureTech engine on all grades. The petrol-burner produces 130 PS, comes paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and is
compliant with the Euro 6.3 emissions regulations that will come into effect in
two years’ time for existing passenger cars.
You can also spec the updated Grand C4 SpaceTourer
with the PureTech 130, hooked up to a six-speed manual gearbox, or the BlueHDi
diesel that comes in two outputs, with 130 PS and 160 PS. The former is available with a six-speed manual on all trim
levels or an eight-speed automatic in the Feel Plus and Flair Plus, whereas the
latter is only available with an eight-speed auto and is reserved for the mid-
and top-range grades of the French people carrier.
