Jeep is adding two
new models to its 2020 Wrangler lineup in the Willys and Black & Tan
editions, both based on the Wrangler Sport S, featuring unique exterior and
interior modifications. Both models are available to order effective
immediately, with pricing starting rom US$ 32,940 for the two-door Black &
Tan version, and US$ 33,740 for the two-door Willys. The four-door versions
meanwhile cost US$ 36,440 and US$ 37,240 respectively.
Wrangler Black
& Tan
This particular
model can be ordered in all available exterior colors, featuring 17-inch
Machine Granite wheels with all-terrain tires, side steps, Low Gloss badging
and a premium tan soft top.
Inside, there’s a
Wizard Black-painted instrument panel mid bolster, as well as Heritage Tan
cloth seats to go with the soft top. Standard features include the automaker’s
Uconnect 7-inch radio, a 7-inch driver’s display screen, plus dual-zone climate
control.
The idea behind
this model was to create something with a “distinct heritage flair,” which the
Black & Tan does indeed seem to embody.
Wrangler Willys
This marks the very
first time that a Willys edition model has been made available on the
latest-gen JL Wrangler. It comes equipped with a limited-slip rear
differential, Robicon rock rails and shocks, heavy duty brakes and 32-inch
Firestone mud terrain tires. Also available is the Command-Trac 4×4 part-time,
two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio.
As for visuals,
there’s a Willys hood decal, unique black 17-inch wheels, black sport grille,
all-weather slush mats, plus LED headlights and fog lights.
Available colors
include Black, Granite Crystal, Sting Gray, Billet, Ocean Blue, Firecracker
Red, Punk’n, Hellayella, Mojito and White.
