The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza has made its spy photo
debut today. The facelifted model will be launched by the end of this financial
year (March 2020).
Maruti Suzuki is readying a mid-cycle update
for the Vitara Brezza to give it a much-needed refresh and keeping it
competitive. With the facelift, Vitara Brezza is expected to receive new design
and feature updates which will keep the package relevant amid the growing
competition. From the first spy shot, it is transparent that the facelifted
Vitara Brezza won't look too distinctive from the current on-sale model. At the
front, the facelifted Vitara Brezza features a restyled bumper which packs new
housing for the rounder fog lamps. The projector headlamps now comprise LED
DRLs and even the front grille could feature a slightly tweaked design.
While the rear-end design appears to be almost the
same, as the previous seen LED tail lamps, high-set stop lamps, and chrome boot
applique continue to be offered on the facelifted model. Furthermore, the
overall shape and boxy appeal of the Vitara Brezza remains unaltered. The
interiors aren't expected to have any major makeover but a few changes including
the switch to the latest, Smartplay Studio infotainment system could be seen in
the new Vitara Brezza.
Under the hood, the Vitara Brezza (facelift) is
expected to have the same K15 1.5-litre SHVS four-cylinder engine which made
its debut in Ciaz and is also found in the Ertiga. This engine is rated to
deliver 104.7 PS and 138 Nm of peak torque.
