Nissan has taken the 2019 Murano into the 2020MY
with only a few small changes and higher price tags for each trim level. The base front-wheel drive Murano
S is now available at US$ 31,530, US$ 260 more than before, whereas for the SV and SL,
customers will have to fork out an extra US$ 720 and US$ 400, respectively, as their
MSRPs have been revised to US$ 35,160 and US$ 39,630, respectively. At US$ 43,730, the
range-topping Platinum is US$ 200 more expensive.
Go for the optional all-wheel drive system and will
see the prices climb to US$ 33,130 for the S, US$ 36,760 for the SV and US$ 41,230 for
the SL, up US$ 260, US$ 720 and US$ 400 compared to the previous model year; as for the
Platinum AWD, it costs an extra US$ 200. These are all manufacturer’s suggested
retail prices and exclude the US$ 1,045 destination charge and dealer fees.
As for the novelties, these are the expanded
availability of the Nissan Safety Shield 360, upgraded equipment for the SV, SL
and Platinum and the addition of the Super Black new exterior color.
Like before, the 2020 Murano S features standard
8-inch infotainment with smartphone integration, whereas from the SL grade, you
also get a navigation system with improved graphics. Options include the SV
Premium Package with a 360-degree camera system, power panoramic moonroof and
Bose audio, and the SL Technology Package, with Safety Shield 360 tech, Traffic
Sign Recognition and power panoramic moonroof. Customers can also choose
between a variety of exterior colors, wheels and interior finishes.
No matter which version of Nissan’s mid-size SUV you
go for, the only engine option is a 3.5-liter V6 that puts out 260 hp and 325 Nm of torque and is paired to an Xtronic
transmission.
