Volvo has finally put a price tag on the facelifted
XC90 in the United Kingdom, more than half a year after its online premiere. Offered in three trim levels
called Momentum, R-Design and Inscription, each available in the Pro variant as
well, it starts at £ 52,235 (US$ 63,495/€ 57,757) in the base grade powered by the
T5 petrol engine.
The Momentum is offered with standard 9-inch
infotainment system, sat-nav, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone
climate control, heated front seats, keyless entry and go, leather upholstery,
reversing camera, parking sensors on both ends, 19-inch wheels and a
comprehensive suite of safety systems.
Upgrading to the Momentum Pro, which adds Nappa
leather, head-up display, heated steering wheel and active bending lights with
adaptive shadow technology, will set you back at least £ 55,035
(US$ 66,899/€ 60,853).
The 2020 XC90 R-Design lineup kicks off with the T5
mill from £ 55,535 (US$ 67,506/€ 61,406) and brings glossy exterior updates, 20-inch
wheels, sports leather seats, front-seat cushion extensions, sports pedals,
black headlining and others. The R-Design Pro starts at £ 59,785
(US$ 72,673/€ 66,105) and brings air suspension, adaptive dampers, heated steering
wheel, a head-up display and 22-inch wheels.
For the most affordable XC90 Inscription, you’ll
have to pay £ 55,935 (US$ 67,993/€ 61,848). For the money, you get matte silver
grille, black ash inlays, crystal gear lever, illuminated tread plates,
integrated sun curtains in the rear doors and a few other features. The
Inscription Pro comes with perforated and ventilated Nappa leather, heated
steering wheel, head-up display, front seat backrest massage function, air
suspension and adaptive dampers and is priced from £ 60,835 (US$ 73,949/€ 67,266).
The 250 horsepower T5 and new, 235 Hp B5 mild-hybrid
diesel can be specced to all trim levels, while the R-Design is available only
in the 310 hp T6 petrol and 390 hp T8 PHEV. All engines are coupled to an
eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
