If we’re being
honest, we’re used to seeing Java Green Metallic mostly on BMWs, specifically
M-powered models and even Alpina-tuned ones. Yet, the owner of this brand new
Audi A7 Sportback thought his ride was stylish and aggressive-looking enough to
handle such a bright shade of green – and it’s hard to disagree, even though
this is merely a diesel-powered model and not an RS7.
While the exterior
is about as flashy as it gets in Audi circles, it’s actually the Audi Exclusive
interior that impressed us most. Not only does the light brown leather blend in
really well with the Alcantara finish on the door panels, headliner and
pillars, but it also works with the wood inserts. The best part though is the
neon green contrast stitching found throughout the cabin (upper dashboard,
steering wheel, door panels, seats etc), bringing everything together in terms
of matching up with the body color.
We realize that
beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and that different people tend to
like different things, but if you’re into vibrant colors and you like what Audi
have done with their latest A7 Sportback, then you probably wouldn’t mind
having something like this parked in your driveway – unless of course, you’re
not a fan of diesel engines.
This A7 50 TDI
quattro model is powered by a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 producing 282 HP and 620 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.
Opting instead for a 55 TFSI version will get you a gasoline-powered V6 with
335 HP and 500 Nm of torque, cutting your 0-100 km/h to 5.3
seconds.
