AC Schnitzer has dropped more tuning parts for the G20 BMW 3-Series.
The German aftermarket specialist is offering styling and performance upgrades
for BMW’s premium compact sedan, although customers will have to wait a bit
longer for power kits. AC Schnitzer is currently developing powertrain
modifications for the 320i, 330i, M340i and 330d.
Until then,
customers can choose between a number of other upgrades, including a sports
suspension that lowers the ride height by approximately 25 mm and according to the tuner, improves handling without affecting ride quality.
A sports suspension
usually goes together quite nicely with lighter alloy wheels, and the AC1 rims
that are available in 19 and 20 inches and in BiColor or anthracite finish
should do the job. The 19-inch rims are shod with 225/40 R19 tires at the front
and 255/35 R19 rubber at the rear while the 20-inch alloys are wrapped in
225/35 R20 and 255/30 R20 tires, respectively. For those who only want their
3er to just sit closer to the ground, AC Schnitzer offers a spring kit that
lowers the front and rear axles by about 25 mm.
Aerodynamic
elements available include a front spoiler and front splitter (both for
vehicles equipped with the M aero package) that help improve downforce, side
skirts, roof spoiler, and deck lid spoiler. For the 320i, 330i and M340i, AC
Schnitzer also offers quad exhaust pipes in Sport Carbon, Sport Chrome or Sport
Black finish.
The company also
offers subtle interior tweaks such as aluminum paddle shifters, aluminum
pedals, aluminum footrest and an aluminum key holder.
