The Titanium X – a new version of the Ford Puma compact crossover/SUV, which will debut later today at the IAA 2019 – is coming to the market with a rather extensive list of equipment and options.

The car doesn’t disappoint in terms of eye candy, either, packing a chrome grille, a rear diffuser, black body kit parts, 18-inch grey wheels and more.

However, the interior is by far the most interesting part. For the first time on record for the marque, the seats come draped in washable, removable zipper covers. Furthermore, the new Puma is the first crossover SUV to take advantage of waist massage and hands-free trunk opening features.

Other highlights include kick plate lighting built into the side mirrors, a whole number of driver aids (lane control, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, collision prevention, and traffic sign reading), a wireless phone charger, a 10-channel audio system, a two-zone climate control, and more.

The series comes powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder engine available in 125 hp and 155 hp versions, mated to a 48V BISG hybrid system adding 15.6 hp along with 50 Nm of torque.

In the meantime, the high-end Ford Puma ST continues running road tests. The car will get restyled bumpers, wheels and exhaust tips, and will ship with the same turbocharged three-cylinder engine (1.5 liters of displacement, 200 hp, 290 Nm) as the latest Fiesta GT.
