Spending upwards of US$ 300,000 on an SUV usually means
configuring the vehicle to your exact specifications, something Rolls-Royce
will gladly let you do as long as you’re determined to become the owner of a
Cullinan.
While the so-called Rolls-Royce of SUVs is easily
the most luxurious people haulers in the world, this particular one from Abu
Dhabi really stands out to us thanks to its Tuscan Sun exterior, mixed with the
dual-tone Dark Spice and Tan cabin.
Tuscan Sun is a very high-contrast colorway,
especially on something as big as the Cullinan. It’s bright, bold and certainly
stylish, although not particularly engaging like the British automaker’s Iguazu
Blue, Mandarin or Belladona Purple.
The body is further accented by the Seashell
coachline (that strip that runs fender to fender underneath the mirror casings)
and the body-colored wheel centers. Also, we really like the black calipers,
they’re very understated. As for the interior, while the Tan leather doesn’t really match the
Tuscan Sun body color, it does instead play well with all that Dark Spice
leather, as well as with the wood inserts on the door panels, center console
and rear seat divider.
While there’s no price tag attached to this
particular Cullinan, we wouldn’t be surprised if it set its owner back nearly US$ 400,000. Last but not least, we should talk about performance, where
underneath the Cullinan’s massive hood lies a twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 engine,
sending 563 HP and 850 Nm of torque to all four wheels.
Its top speed is electronically-limited to 250 km/h.
