the other safety feature.
The next in the line-up will be the 'SX' variant

The facelifted Hyundai Elantra will be introduced as
a petrol-only model in India. A diesel engine option won't be a part of the
package and that's mainly because of the low demand. So, the 2.0L petrol engine
delivering 152 PS of maximum power at 6,200 rpm and 192 Nm of
peak torque at 4,000 rpm in the old model will be standard. 6-speed manual and
6-speed automatic should be the transmission choices.
The 2019 Hyundai Elantra's prices in India are
expected to start somewhere between INR 14-15 lakh (ex-showroom).
