Citroën has come up with the Citroënist, a prototype
mini-motorhome based on the chassis and tech of its Spacetourer MPV.
The two-tone paintjob looks neat and inexplicably
also mottle, even though in reality it is just black and white. There is a
single horizontal red stripe running down the shoulder line, and the tires are
tri-color. The cabin echoes the exterior gamma with grey, black and red shades
of its own.
The above may leave the impression that the concept
is all about the looks, but this is not the case. It offers a sleeping area for
two, a bike rack, a collapsible roof tent, a dining table, and a TV. Powering the car is the standard
2.0-liter diesel engine delivering up to 150 horsepower to all
four wheels.
By the way, the car shares the platform with the
recently revealed Peugeot Boxer 4X4 Concept. Both are currently exhibited at
the 2019 Leisure Vehicle Motor Show in Paris, France.
