On September 25th, Dongfeng Venucia (Qichen)’s
mid-size SUV, 2019 Venucia T90, was officially launched. The new car will
launch a total of 4 models with 2.0L engine. Its official guide price is
118,800-154,800 yuan (US$ 16,657 – US$ 21,705). As facelift model, it has been
adjusted in terms of details.
In terms of appearance, 2019 Venucia T90 features
new generation of design language, with a new family-style front face
“V-Galaxy” design, using a larger front grille with chrome trim on both sides.
In terms of body size, 2019 Venucia T90 has a
length, width and height of 4,805/1,865/1,573 mm and wheelbase of 2,765 mm. It
is positioned as a mid-size SUV. In terms of the tail, the biggest change is
that the new car adopts a bar-style taillight group design, which further
broadens the visual effect.
Compared to the drastic changes in appearance, the
interior is mainly refined in terms of details. The air conditioning air outlet
under the central control panel has changed from the current polygon shape to
the inverted trapezoidal design. With the three-spoke multi-function steering
wheel and the diamond-shaped seat, the interior texture of the vehicle has
reached a new level.
In terms of configuration, it features a 10.2-inch
full LCD instrument, 12.3-inch multimedia center control, 360° panoramic image,
panoramic sunroof, electric tail-gate, etc. depending on the configuration, it
will also feature keyless entry/starting, LED headlights.
In terms of power, 2019 Venucia T90 will be powered
by a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine codenamed MR20 that is from Nissan,
maximum power is 147 hp and peak torque of 205 Nm, matching the CVT
gearbox.
