Dongfeng Fengshen (Aeolus) debuted a new
pure electric compact sedan based on the just-launch Yixuan. The Yixuan EV is
based one Fengshen (Aeolus)’s electric platform eCMP, it is expected to be
listed within 2019. There is no significant difference between the appearance
of EV and the fuel version, the battery capacity is 47.7kWh, or it will bring
the NEDC comprehensive cruising range of over 400 km.
In terms of appearance, Aeolus Yixuan EV is almost
identical to the fuel version, and even the vent shape at the rear of the car
is still preserved, there is no differentiated design for this “new” EV. The
overall design of the new car is angular and the shape of fast back is matched
with the low waist line.
The rear design is three-dimensional and layered,
the bar-style taillight design widens the lateral visual effect. In terms of
size, the length, width and height of Yixuan EV are 4660/1812/1480 mm and the
wheelbase is 2680 mm, this is almost the same as Yixuan fuel version.
In terms of interior, the main difference between
the design of Yixuan EV and the fuel version is that the color matching is
mainly gray & black, the red and black contrast design is cancelled, which
seems more stable. The 7-inch LCD instrument with a 10.25-inch central control
panel adds a touch of technology to the interior.
In terms of power, Dongfeng Fengshen Yixuan EV is
powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor with maximum power of 160 hp and is equipped with a lithium battery pack with capacity of 47.7kWh.

cruising range for the vehicle. As for the date of listing of the car, the
official date is not given, it is expected to be listed within the year.
