The calendar still
says October, but that hasn’t stopped Neiman Marcus from unveiling their annual
Christmas Book. While the catalog is filled with “nearly 800 extraordinary
holiday gifts,” one definitely caught our attention. It’s a limited edition
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera designed by Daniel Craig who is best known for
playing James Bond.
Neiman Marcus
didn’t say much about the car, but it features a “beautiful inky blue” exterior
and distinctive wheels. We can also see a blue leather interior with checkered
flag-inspired trim.
Power is provided
by a familiar twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine that produces 715 hp and 900 Nm of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed
automatic transmission which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100
km/h in 3.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 340 km/h.
Customers who
purchase the US$ 700,007 limited edition will be flown to the United Kingdom to
see their car roll off the assembly line. They’ll also receive a platinum Omega
Seamaster Diver 300M watch. Only seven watches will be built and each features
a hand-engraved back with Omega and 007 logos. If that wasn’t special enough,
buyers will two receive tickets, airfare and lodging to attend the world
premiere of No Time to Die. It’s the 25th Bond film and it will feature an
assortment of Aston Martin models including the DB5, Valhalla and DBS
Superleggera.
As an added bonus,
buyers will help support The Opportunity Network which was “founded as a direct
response to the inequitable structures of access, college opportunity, and
professional mobility that disproportionately affect students of color and
students from low-income communities.” 12 percent of the purchase price will go
directly to the charity and Neiman Marcus will make a guaranteed minimum
donation of US$ 330,000.
