Fiat introduced the 500X 120th Anniversary Edition at the Geneva Motor Show, but the company has finally announced the model is coming to America. Essentially an appearance package, the 120th Anniversary Edition has a black roof which contrasts with a Grigio Argento (Gray Metallic), Milano (Ivory Tri-coat), Bianco Gelato (White Clear Coat) or Nero Cinema (Black Clear Coat) body.

The dark theme is continued elsewhere as the crossover has black mirror caps, black body-side moldings and 18-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. Other exterior styling features include LED headlights and 120th Anniversary badging.

Interior changes are hardly worth mentioning, but the special edition has a black-painted instrument panel. Since the model is based on the 500X Pop, drivers will also find air conditioning, power windows / locks and a 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Other highlights include a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, black cloth seats and a six-speaker audio system.

Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 177 hp and 285 Nm of torque. It is connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission and an intelligent all-wheel drive system. This enables the model to return a fuel economy rating of 24 mpg city / 30 mpg highway / 26 mpg combined. The 120th Anniversary Edition package is a US$ 995 option on the 500X Pop which starts at US$ 24,740 before destination charges. It will arrive at dealerships late this year.
