The original Porsche Panamera debuted at the
Shanghai Motor Show on April 19, 2009. The German marque has sold over 250,000
units since. To celebrate this, it will be releasing a limited series titled
‘10 Years Edition’.
Every car is getting 21-inch White Gold rims,
special badges, and White Gold stitching inside the cabin.
The equipment list includes adaptive air suspension,
numerous driver aids, and LED Matrix headlights. It goes on to mention a Bose
sound system, warmed-up seats with 14 different adjustments, and door closers.
In its Hybrid implementation, the series also gains a more powerful charging
unit (7.2 kW, up from 3.6 kW). Sales launch is planned for the first quarter of 2020.
On a related note, the second generation of the
Porsche Panamera debuted in 2016, and work is already underway on a facelift.
Most industry observers believe that the liftback series will retain its
recognizable design while getting significant technical upgrades.
