These latest shots of the premium crossover SUV
reveal plenty of detail, so let’s take a closer look while we can ahead of the
premiere.
Based on the pics, the car will remain generally
faithful to its Genesis GV80 Fuel Cell Concept predecessor that debuted two
years ago. The radiator grille, the taillights and the dual headlights will
likely make it into production as is.
Some of the cabin has also been revealed, showcasing
an interesting ‘spoke-less’ steering wheel design, a horizontal infotainment
display, a separate climate control display, and a center tunnel devoid of the
drive mode stick.
The launch of the Genesis GV80 had been originally
planned for 2019, but anonymous informed sources claim the company had
difficulty designing 2.5- and 3.5-liter turbo engines for the model. The way
things look now, the SUV will most likely be revealed in 2020.
