Electric two-wheeler brand Atomex recently showcased
two products at a mall in Nashik, India. The photographs of the two electric
vehicles, the Atomex A.2.0 and Raavi 2.0, were shared with us by Kartish Nair.
The Atomex A.2.0 has an uncanny resemblance to the
Kawasaki Ninja 300, and thus you would find a twin-pod headlight setup, fairing
integrated front blinkers and a split-style saddle. The front-wheel design and
the tyre profile, too, are identical to the entry-level Kawasaki motorcycle.
The Atomex branding is visible on the fairing, while the A.2.0 stickers are
seen on the fairing and the rear panel.
While the styling cues are inspired by the Kawasaki
Ninja, the A.2.0 packs a polar bear friendly motor that runs on electric power.
The 3000W electric motor is fed by lithium, 72v 40ah battery pack that boasts a
range of 135 km. The standard charging time is mentioned as 1 hour 30 minutes
while fast charging rate claims to refuel the battery pack in 45 minutes. The
electric motorcycle boasts a top speed of 110 km/h.
The braking setup is noteworthy as it features twin
rotors at the front and a single disc at the back. The suspension department
comprises telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the back. The
Atomex A.2.0 is available in three colour options – Grey, Black, and White.
The Raavi 2.0 electric scooter features a
maxi-scooter design. Thus, you would find apron-mounted, twin-pod LED headlight
and a tall windscreen at the front. The front blinkers are neatly integrated
into the apron, right next to the headlight assembly. The maxi-scooter style
footboard and the large saddle design give it an appealing look. The Raavi 2.0
is available in two colour options – Grey and Black.
In terms of mechanical specifications, the Raavi 2.0
features a 2000W motor that draws current from a 60v 20ah lithium battery pack.
The top speed is rated at 80 km/h. The range, however, is not mentioned in the
spec sheet. Unlike the Atomex A.2.0, there is no fast charging column for the
Raavi 2.0. The standard charging time is rated at an hour and 30 minutes.
Anchoring hardware comprises a single disc brake at
the front. The rear brake specification is not available although it most
likely uses a disc at the back as well. Shock absorption department includes
telescopic front forks. The suspension details for the back are not available.
Atomex has also listed the following models:
- A.1.0 roadster (2000W, 72v 40ah, 90 km/h)
- A.2.5 faired motorcycle (3000W, 72v 40ah, 90 km/h)
- Raavi 1.0 scooter (2000W, 60v 26ah, 80 km/h)
As per the data shared by Kartish Nair, the A.2.0 is
available at INR 1,41,750 (on-road). The price of Raavi 2.0 is not available.
