Peugeot
has made an addition to the Expert range in the form of the new Sport Edition,
which will arrive in UK showrooms early next year in the Panel Van and Crew Van
models. Based
on the standard wheelbase version, they’re available in Nera Black, Cumulus
Grey and Bianca White, ride on 17-inch Black Phoenix alloy wheels and boast
Sport decals on the sides and rear.
The
Panel Van is powered by a 120 PS and 340 Nm BlueHDi diesel engine, whereas the Crew Van benefits from 148 PS and 370 Nm, with both engines matched to a six-speed manual
gearbox. A third oil burner will be available for both body styles, a 2.0-liter
turbodiesel with 174 PS and 400 Nm paired to the
eight-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing
kicks off at £ 29,460for the Expert Panel Van Sport Edition
and £ 33,480 for the Crew Van. With the more powerful lump,
you’re looking at £ 32,960 for the former and £ 35,880 for the latter.
The
Expert family will be complete in the second half of 2020, with the addition of
the e-Expert electric van, which will be offered with a choice of two battery
sizes and boast a range of up to 300 km.
