With
the RS2 Avant turning 25 this year, Audi Sport is celebrating it with a new
anniversary pack, aptly called ’25 Years of Audi RS’.
Available
for the TT RS Coupe, RS4 Avant, RS5 Coupe, RS5 Sportback, RS6 Avant and RS7
Sportback, it adds distinctive visual updates inside and out, which are a
throwback to the iconic RS2. At this point, we only know about the special
package being offered in Germany and other select European countries, though it
is possible that Audi might make it available in global markets too at a later
date.
Offered
in Nogaro Blue, alongside Mythos Black, Nardo Gray and Glacier White, they
sport matte aluminum and glossy black accents, with the front blade, vertical
webs, side sill inlays and diffuser’s horizontal web getting a matte black look
on the RS4, RS5, RS6 and RS7. The side mirror caps, Audi and RS logos and rear
wing of the TT RS are finished in gloss black. The wheels have a two-tone
design in silver and gloss anthracite.
Opening
the door projects the number ‘25’ onto the asphalt and reveals the black
dominating color of the cockpit, with cobalt blue accents in Alcantara on the
piping of the floor mats and 12 o’clock marking on the steering wheel.
Elsewhere, the front sports seats have a honeycomb pattern in the RS4, RS5 and
TT RS, combining Nappa leather with Alcantara center panels, like in the
original RS2 Avant. The RS6 and RS7 get perforated Valcona leather, whereas the
’25 years’ logo is found on the door panels, seats and floor mats.
