If there was a gym for cars, then this
Mercedes-AMG G63 would be the ultimate star or, as Brabus would call it, a 700
Widestar. With the German tuner’s treatment already applied, it paid a visit to
Fostla to get a full vinyl wrap in matte black, complete with a paint
protection film to keep those unwanted chips and scratches away from the body.
Speaking of which, it wears a widebody
kit that consists among other things of wider wheel arches, roof-mounted wing and a bulkier bonnet. The
carbon fiber accessories are joined by the 23-inch monoblock F rims in glossy
black with copper accents, Brabus brake calipers, 30 mm lowered ground
clearance and auxiliary lights mounted on the roof.
Your 5-year old daughter would
probably be proud of the interior of this tuned G-Wagen, as it features many
colorful accents, including a ‘starry sky’ with hundreds of small LEDs,
complemented by the ambient lighting. The leather lining of the headrests and
steering wheel, as well as glossy trim, complete the look.
As for what moves this off-road
monster, the G63 had its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 tuned to the point where it
delivers 700 PS and 950 Nm of torque. That’s 115
PS and 100 Nm more than the stock super truck,
channeled to all four corners through a 9-speed automatic transmission. The 0
to 100 km/h is completed in a sports car-fast 4.3 seconds with the
4×4 accelerating up to 240 km/h – an electronically limited top speed
calculated so that it won’t chew through its rubber.
