At the 2019 Guangzhou Auto Show officially opened. Chery Jetour’s new mid-size SUV, Jetour X95, announced its pre-sale price starting from 101,900 yuan (US$ 14,485), and said it will launch 6 models. The new car is the flagship model of Jetour brand, it features the latest family design language, it will also provide 5 seat, 6 seat, and 7 seat layout.

The Jetour X95 continues the Jetour family-style design concept, the overall shape is exquisite, it has a high degree of recognition, and very similar to Jetour X90. The large hexagonal air intake grille has a dense lattice design inside, with thick chrome trim, and the “JETOUR” logo embedded in it looks very atmospheric.


The polygon-shaped headlights have sharp outlines and complex internal structures. All LEDs are used for the light source, they have a water-steering effect. The matrix LED fog lights below make the shape under the front face more three-dimensional，this design is also a customary design element of Jetour brand models.

The side of the Jetour X95 uses a more complex multiple waistline to make the side of the car look more three-dimensional. The B / C / D pillars are painted black with chrome trim and rear spoilers, forming a more dynamic floating roof effect, multiple polished wheels add texture to the vehicle. Compared with the X90, the size of the body has also increased to a certain extent. The length, width, and height are 4875 mm / 1925 mm / 1745 mm, the wheelbase reaches 2855 mm.


Compared to the stunning and highly original front, the shape of the rear has become much simpler. The use of line elements such as the rear spoiler, rear surround and tailgate has enriched the layered sense of the vehicle, and the light group is quite a bit taste of the old version Audi Q5, but the eye-catching “JETOUR” logo and the exhaust decoration on both sides add a little sporty feel.

In terms of interiors, the overall design of Jetour X95 is more atmospheric. It not only adopts an embracing design, but also with a black color tone. At the same time, it adds high-contrast color stitching and more matte chrome decoration in the details. The dual 12.3-inch central control screen and the instrument panel are integrated to form an integrated visual effect, the air-conditioning control area also uses a large-sized touch panel design. In addition, the rearview mirror of the car also features a multimedia system independent of the central control display screen, and integrates rich features such as driving recorder, navigation, Bluetooth call and voice control.


In terms of seat layout, thanks to the advantages on the wheelbase, the internal driving space is more spacious. Therefore, in addition to the traditional 5-seater version, the new car also has a “2 + 2 + 2” 6-seater version and The “2 + 3 + 2” 7-seater version. 

In terms of power, Jetour X95 will be powered by the latest 1.6T in-cylinder direct-injection engine and match the 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission from Getrag. The maximum power of this engine is 197 PS and the peak torque is 290 Nm. The chassis features front Macpherson independent suspension + rear multi-link independent suspension. High-trim models will also be equipped with four-wheel drive systems.
