At the recently
concluded motor show in New Delhi, Force Motors has unveiled the 2020 facelift
version of its Gurkha SUV masquerading as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
Compared to its first generation, the new
Gurkha boasts redesigned bumpers, headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels, as well
as broader wheel arches. Inside, the updated infotainment system now features a
touchscreen display, the dashboard is also fresh, the air blowers are round,
and the second seat row is made up from individual seats.
The car packs a new revision of its old
2.6-liter diesel engine, whose performance drops to 90 hp to comply
with the latest emission standards. A five-speed manual transmission delivers
the power to the front wheels, but an on-demand AWD system is there should you
need it.
The Force Gurkha should hit the showrooms
throughout India in a few months, and the pricing is pending.
