Hennessey Performance has just unveiled an outlandish new variation of the Ford F-150 dubbed the Venom 775. The extensively modified F-150 will be sold exclusively through Brown Lee Ford. Each Venom 775 starts out life as a regular 5.0-liter Coyote V8-powered F-150 that typically delivers 395 hp.

The Texas tuner then goes to work on the engine and fits a 2.9-liter supercharger, air-to-water intercooler, high-flow air induction system, fuel injector upgrade, fuel system upgrade, and a stainless steel cat-back exhaust. When topped off with some ECU tuning, the modified pickup churns out no less than 775 hp at 7,000 rpm.

Hennessey says this added grunt propels the Venom 775 to 96 km/h in a mere 4.0-seconds while the quarter-mile can pass in as little as 12.1-seconds at 186 km/h. Complementing the engine modifications are a host of other upgrades. For example, there is a 6-inch lift kit, 20-inch wheels, and 35-inch Toyota Off-Road tires to improve the vehicle’s off-road credentials. There are also a set of six-piston Brembo calipers at the front with 15.1-inch drilled discs.

A number of visual modifications have also been made, including flared wheel arches, a Hennessey front bumper, and an LED light bar. Customers can also option power running boards, a new rear bumper, a bespoke hood with an intake scoop, and a leather and suede interior. The upgrade package costs a cool US$ 53,500 and that’s before the actual price of the truck and the aforementioned options. Not cheap but as a means of making a statement, this is certainly one way to do it.
