The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer made its
big North American debut at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show last November,
resurrecting the Bow Tie brand nameplate as a new subcompact crossover. Now,
interested buyers and digital window shoppers can spec theirs as they see fit
thanks to the Trailblazer online configurator.
As we exclusively covered back in
December, buyers have five trim levels to choose from, starting with the
base-level L, and followed by the LS and the LT. The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer
range is topped by the outdoorsy Activ and sporty RS. Starting prices slot in
at US$ 19,995 for the base-model L with FWD, and range up to US$ 27,895 for the Activ
and RS with AWD.
Engine options include GM’s new
turbocharged 1.2L LIH three-cylinder gas engine, which produces 137 horsepower
and 166 pound-feet of torque, as well as the turbocharged 1.3L L3T
three-cylinder, which produces 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A
CVT is standard on models equipped with FWD, while models with AWD and the 1.3L
engine option pair up with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
Standout options for the 2021 Chevrolet
Trailblazer include a two-tone paint scheme, the Driver Confidence Package, the
Convenience Package, and the Technology Package. The Driver Confidence Package
