The official configurator for the 2021
Porsche 911 Turbo S has just gone online and if you have a spare few minutes
(or hours), it’s well worth a look. Porsche has long offered some of the most
comprehensive online configurators of any automaker and it’s no different with
the 992-generation 911 Turbo S in both coupe and convertible bodystyles. The
example you see pictured is my dream coupe, complete with a sticker price of US$ 230,220, with US$ 25,470 of that coming through optional extras.
There are four standard and eight standard
metallic color options offered for the new car. Mine is painted in Gentian Blue
Metallic but you can also opt for the likes of Guards Red and Racing Yellow to
really stand out. A handful of special colors are also available for US$ 3,270
each, including Python Green, Lava Orange, Chalk, and Carmine Red. Custom
exterior colors can also be ordered for a cool US$ 12,830.
Elsewhere, there are three wheel options
available. As standard, the new 911 Turbo S has quad tailpipes but if you opt
for the sports exhaust system, as I did, the car features two large oval-shaped
exhausts. My dream model also comes complete with cleared taillights and black
painted brake calipers.
Inside, there are a multitude of options
available, including 18-way adaptive sports seats. I also opted for the
Surround View camera, Porsche InnoDrive with Adaptive Cruise Control and Active
Lane Keep Assist, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, Porsche crests on the
headrests, and aluminum pedals.
U.S. pricing for the 2021 Porsche 911
Turbo S starts at US$ 203,500 excluding a delivery and handling fee.
