E.C.D. Automotive Design churns out one
luxed-up Defender classic after another, and this D110 Alpaca is their latest
project that took 2,200+ hours to complete.
As per the old tradition, the British
restomod gets a new Chevrolet LS3 V8 engine under the hood. This specific
example comes with a boost to 565 horsepower, although going naturally
aspirated is also an option for E.C.D. clients. The tech feature list goes on
to mention air suspension, Brembo brakes with white calipers, and custom ADV.1
Forged wheels measuring 20 inches across.
The body is as white as the calipers are,
while the front bumper, the winch, the roof trunk and the fenders stay black
for contrast. A fully assembled spare wheel is fastened to the tailgate.
The interior is also far from stock and
takes advantage of abundant black Nappa leather with diamond stitching
patterns. Notable details include a classical Nardi Deep Corn steering wheel
handcrafted from wood, a Sony infotainment system, a four-zone climate control
system and a wireless gadget charger.
