Be honest, what’s the first thing that you
noticed about this Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid; is It the color? Porsche’s
Exclusive Manufaktur calls it Night Blue Metallic, but it’s not the only
update. The brand’s customization division based in Zuffenhausen has fitted it
with the new Sport Design Package, which adds the four-fin diffuser at the back
and new front apron. The 21-inch wheels, with a Y-spoke pattern and Night Blue
Metallic look, LED taillights and new sports exhaust system are part of the
customazation.
Other models boasting this option, such as
the Taycan, feature different sill panels as well, and the parts can be
finished in the exterior color of the car or, for a little bit of contrast, in
carbon fiber or high gloss black. For the 991, the Sport Design Package, which
suits all Coupe variants of the latest iteration, brings new spoiler lip,
redesigned rear bumper with raised license plate and big side skirts.
Diving into the Exclusive Manufaktur
components is one way to make the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid even more
expensive. In America, the plug-in hybrid model starts at US$ 187,700, while in
its home market, it’s available from € 190,330 – and that’s before checking any
options.
The official specs are listed at 3.2
seconds for the 0-96 km/h and a 309 km/h top speed. The
firepower comes from the 550 hp 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and 134 hp
electric motor. When working in conjunction, the system develops a combined 677
HP and 849 Nm of torque.
