Classic Recreations is an auto restoration
shop in Oklahoma, USA that has 15 years of expertise in Mustang restoration and
modding. Their newest project is called “Shelby Mustang GT500CR”, and it has
plenty of cool features to look forward to.
The team will work with multiple donor
vehicles produced in 1967 and 1968. They will repair the chassis, reassemble
the drivetrain and top things off with all-carbon bodywork designed by
SpeedKore Performance. The end result should look like the Shelby GT500CR-900S.
The car will get either the five-liter
Ford Coyote V8 engine good for 497 hp or a larger seven-liter V8 rated
at 912 hp. Plans also exist for a 1,000+hp version. For transmission,
customers will be able to choose between five- and six-speed manual and
six-speed automatic.
