Italy’s Aznom Automotive and the Camal
Studio have teamed up to deliver what looks to be one of the most opulent and
unusual luxury cars in a long time. It’s called the Aznom Palladium and it’s
described as “the unconventional all-terrain luxury”. Measuring 6 meters in length, the Palladium is a cross between a super luxury sedan and an
SUV, combining a three-volume bodywork with a generous ground clearance.
The bodywork is said to be built using
techniques from the past, such as beating the steel panels by hand. As far as
the styling is concerned, the Palladium features a front end that reminds of a
Rolls-Royce because of the similar grille and headlights. We don’t know whether
or not it features suicide doors as well, but the side view is arguably the
most controversial.
That’s because of the massive C-pillar
that sits above what could very well be the most pronounced haunches we’ve ever
seen. As for the rear, the Palladium features slim taillights spanning the
entire width of the vehicle, a sports car-like rear screen and a massive
diffuser incorporating two squared-off exhausts.
According to Aznom, there’s a twin-turbo
engine (most likely a V8) under the hood producing 680 PS. The company
also says the Palladium is “2WD+4WD”, although it hasn’t provided details. As
with some of Aznom’s past projects, this giant SUV sedan is likely based on an
existing vehicle, although its identity is anyone’s guess at the moment.
All we know is the project started two
years ago and is currently in the final phase of production, with the Aznom
Palladium’s debut planned for September.
