Here are the first
2021 Bronco and 2021 Bronco Sport family adventure concepts released by Ford to
showcase hundreds of accessories available for the new off-road SUVs. To mark the
Bronco’s 55th birthday, Ford has unveiled five new adventure concepts
showcasing factory-backed accessories that make personalization easier and more
affordable.
In total, there are more than 200 available factory-backed
accessories for the Bronco 2-Door and 4-Door, and more than 100 accessories for
the Bronco Sport. Starting with the 2021 Bronco, Ford has put together two
concepts: the Bronco 2-Door Trail Rig and the Bronco 4-Door Outer Banks Fishing
Guide.
Ford Bronco 2-Door Trail Rig
The Bronco 2-Door
Trail Rig Concept is designed to be the ultimate hardcore trail rider. Based on
the two-door Badlands series, this custom build begins with a Ford Performance
modular front bumper, tube doors, beadlock-capable wheels, and a 40-inch RIGID
LED light bar. Also part of the package is a Ford Performance by WARN winch,
Yakima Platform roof rack system with mounts for a shovel, and Ford Performance
by WARN recovery kit and recovery boards. Inside, the Bronco 2-Door Trail Rig
gains rugged floor mats and a rear swing-gate-mounted table.
Ford Bronco 4-Door Outer Banks Fishing
Guide
Purpose-built to support a professional
fishing guide along Cape Hatteras National Seashore, this lifestyle concept is
based on the four-door Bronco Outer Banks series. The roof hosts a Bestop
Sunrider soft top, factory-style concept roof rails and crossbars, and a Yakima
LockNLoad Platform roof rack.
A custom-made fishing pole and seat perch
are fitted on fender-mounted trail sights, while a Ford Performance modular
front bumper and safari bar are there to help the Bronco go advance on rugged
terrain. Out on the back, a slide-out tailgate doubles as a work surface for
repairing fishing rods or stringing up new lures. All-weather floor mats and
splash guards round out the package.
Ford Bronco Sport Trail Rig
This accessories concept is designed for
off-road enthusiasts and it upgrades the Bronco Sport Badlands series model by
adding 31-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, a one-inch lift kit, plus
Ford Performance by RIGID LED off-road lights mounted to a front nudge bar. On
the roof, a Yakima LockNLoad Platform roof rack and off-road gear mounts are
designed to carry gear like a high-lift jack kit, Ford Performance recovery
boards, and jerry cans.
Ford Bronco Sport TOW RZR
Also based on the Badlands series, this
custom build adds towing and cargo accessories to help adventurers haul more
outdoor gear. It adds Yakima HD Bar crossbars and OffGrid medium cargo basket,
as well as a Class II Trailer Tow Package with 998 kg of
capacity. This can be used to tow off-road runners like the all-new Polaris RZR
XP Turbo 1000, unveiled today as part of the Bronco birthday celebration.
Ford Bronco Sport Off-Roadeo Adventure
Patrol
The third family adventure concept based
on the Bronco Sport Badlands is designed for the upcoming Bronco Off-Roadeo
customer adventure playgrounds and is equipped to assist in the wild. It can do
that thanks to its Yakima LockNLoad Cargo Platform that can hold recovery gear
like a high-lift jack, recovery boards, and jerry cans. A Ford Performance by
RIGID off-road LED light bar also mounts to the rack system. The Bronco Sport
Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol also features a Yakima interior bike rack to hold
two mountain bikes, as well as a target to land the drone that will be used
on-trail at Off-Roadeo locations.
