Aston Martin is celebrating the new James
Bond film ‘No Time To Die’ with two special editions of the Vantage and DBS
Superleggera, whose deliveries will commence in Q1 2021. Inspired by the
classic V8, which made its 007 debut in ‘The Living Daylights’ back in 1987 and
makes a cameo appearance in the new film too alongside the DB5, the Vantage 007
Edition is limited to 100 cars and starts at £ 161,000 (US$ 210,663) in the United
Kingdom.
Special details include the retro-style
mesh grille with chrome surround and yellow trim contrasting the Cumberland
Grey paint finish. The interior features obsidian black leather, dark chrome
inserts with ‘007’ branding applied to the console of the cars equipped with a stick
shift and ‘96.60’ embroidered on the sun visors.
The latter is a reference to the Russian
police frequency used by the special agent in the escape scene in the 1987
movie. The laser-etched plaque mimics the looks of the gadget control panel,
with the limited edition skis and ski rack, available as options, further
referencing the V8 model from the film.
Limited to just 25 cars, the DBS
Superleggera 007 Edition has the same specs as the one featured in the upcoming
movie. It’s finished in Ceramic Grey, with black tinted carbon fiber roof, side
mirror caps, diffuser and aeroblade, and rides on 21-inch Y-spoke alloys.
It also features the ‘007’ fender badge,
special foil applied to the rear spoiler blade, more ‘007’ branding on the
inside, and a special sill plaque that further highlights its rare presence.
This model has a recommended retail price of £ 279,025 (US$ 365,094).
