TechArt has long been one of the industry’s leading Porsche tuners and has just released an online configurator for the 911. It’s not often that we see tuning companies creating their own configurators so it’s pretty cool to be able to play around with the various upgrades that TechArt offers for the iconic German sports car.
In speccing out the 911 you see, we opted
for Miami Blue paint and the available TechArt Formula V wheels with a bi-color
finish. Elsewhere, there are three available TechArt aerodynamic packages on
offer and ours is equipped with ‘Package III’ that includes a new front
splitter with body-colored and black-painted accents, a large rear wing, carbon
fiber wing mirrors, black side skirts, a black rear diffuser, carbon tailpipes,
black aero wings on the rear bumper, and a subtle roof spoiler.
Moving to the interior and there are five
leather options available consisting of black leather, Slate Grey leather,
Graphite Blue leather, Bordeaux Red leather, and Truffle Brown leather. Other
available parts include new springs and a power kit.
If you have some spare time on your hands,
the configurator is well worth checking out. However, if you consider yourself
a Porsche traditionalist and aren’t a fan of aftermarket modifications, you
should probably stick with Porsche’s own configurator for the 992-generation
911.
