Ford has introduced a limited edition of the Fiesta ST, which is offered in Europe in 500 units, including 300 for the UK market. Priced from £ 27,075 (US$ 35,000), the three-door Fiesta ST Edition is differentiated by the Azura Blue exterior paint finish that’s contrasted by the gloss black detailing on the upper grille, fog lamp surrounds, side mirror casings, roof, rear spoiler, diffuser and lightweight 18-inch alloy wheels that have shed almost 8 kg compared to the standard car.

Inside, the new Fiesta ST Edition features carbon fiber effect trim on the instrument cluster surround, decorative elements, illuminated starter button, leather-wrapped steering wheel, gearshift knob and handbrake lever, blue stitching and ST-branded Recaro seats, seatbelts and floor mats. It also comes with the SYNC 3 infotainment system, with an 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging pad and FordPass Connect modem that connects it to the user’s smartphone.

The biggest novelty is the introduction of the adjustable suspension. Developed and tested at the Nurburgring by Ford Performance, the two-way coilover system reduces the height by 15 mm at the front and 10 mm  at the rear, and can be fine-tuned thanks to the twelve ‘bump’ settings and 16 rebound settings, thus increasing the response during high-speed cornering.

Selecting the sportiest setting is now possible with the dedicated button mounted on the steering wheel. Launch Control is also available and the three-mode ESC is standard.

Power is still provided by the 1.5-liter three-pot that pumps out 200 PS and 290 Nm, allowing it to hit 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and a 230 km/h top speed.
