When you have enough money to buy a business jet, you surely don’t mind spending an extra US$ 203,500 on a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S coupe, do you? We guess that’s the reasoning behind Embraer’s and Porsche’s cooperation. The Brazilian executive jet manufacturer and the German automaker have teamed up to create an exclusive duo where customers who opt for a special edition Embraer Phenom 300E business jet can also buy a matching customized Porsche 911 Turbo S.
Limited to 10 units, the “Duet” special
edition is based on the sportiest and most successful product from each
manufacturer. The sports car and business jet feature the same two-tone
paintwork in Platinum Silver Metallic (gloss) and matt Jet Grey Metallic (satin
gloss), with trim strips in Brilliant Chrome and Speed Blue. In both cases, all
the paintwork is carried out by hand.
They also feature a logo that was
specially designed for the cooperation. Inspired from aerodynamics, it is made
up of a stylized airplane wing of the Phenom 300E and the rear wing of the
flagship 911 from the Sport Design package. The Duet logo is present on the
outside and inside of both products. It is embossed on the head restraints, and
also features on the limited-edition badge. The very special 911 Turbo S also
features many aviation-inspired design details, such as the individual
registration of the respective jet on the underside of the rear wing, ‘No step’
lettering illuminated in red on the door sill trims, and a printed-on
artificial horizon on the Sport Chrono stopwatch’s dial.
Other unique exterior details of the 911
Turbo S Duet include the Porsche Exclusive wheels finished in Platinum Silver
Metallic with Speed Blue lines on the rim flange, Brilliant Chrome side air
intakes and side window trims, LED door projectors with cooperation logo, and a
special emblem on the B-pillar.
Inside, passengers are also treated with a
special color scheme combining black and chalk-colored leather, Speed Blue
stitching, two-tone leather steering wheel matching the jet’s yoke, Carbon
interior package with high-gloss finish, chalk-colored Alcantara headliner, and
high-gloss carbon trim for the front seats, among many other things.
A “One of 10” logo is placed on the front
passenger side dash panel trim, and even the front luggage compartment is
hand-finished in black leather with contrast stitching in Speed Blue. Needless
to say, the 911 Turbo S Duet comes with accessories including a luggage set and
an exclusive special edition of the new 1919 Globetimer UTC timepiece – both
from Porsche Design. The 10 limited-edition pairs of the Duet are now available
for order, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2021. A “regular” Embraer
Phenom 300E jet starts at US$ 9.45 million, so it’s safe to assume this
highly-customized duo costs a bit more than that.
