Three years ago, independent designer Qendrim Thaqi sketched up an imaginary successor to the 918 Spyder hybrid, which he called “Porsche 9RE”. He now wants to build his own, all-new supercar named the Illyrian Pure Sport.

The vehicle only exists on virtual 3D renderings so far, but as the CEO of the recently founded coachbuilder Arrera Automobili, Thaqi is in a position to fulfil his dream soon. The company already has a team of engineers and coachbuilders, although the CEO alone is entitled to decide upon the final design of the car.

Albania’s first supercar is slated to receive an all-carbon body, a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 twin-turbo’d to 850 PS, an eight-speed/dual-clutch Tremec transmission, and AWD. Theoretical simulations show the car should be capable of accelerating 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and hitting 375 km/h in a straight line. It remains uncertain when these figures can be confirmed in real tests.
